i am really quite grateful that i get to bring these little beauties into the world. i love the way they just seem to flow… as i play with art supplies these little beings begin to appear. flow flow flow. and as they take shape i fall in love with them and i can’t wait to see what they will be like when they are finished. there is so much beauty in allowing art (and life) to flow and unfold and not trying to push it into a certain mold.

That’s exactly the way I feel when I’m making pictures, especially the loose, playing around ones, but really all of them–waiting to see what happens, and who comes out of it, and falling in love with them. This looks like great fun!

how long did the whole project/show take you to complete, from beginning to end? what a lot of work. is each one hand painted?
