shine a light creativity workshop:
exploring what’s inside to better know, accept and love ourselves
as we shine a light on all parts of us, from our deepest darkest secrets to our greatest brightest greatness, we open ourselves up to greater levels of self acceptance, love and appreciation.
i have been hugely inspired by debbie ford lately and am so looking forward to seeing her film, the shadow effect. it will be playing at the centre for conscious living on friday, september 18. to celebrate the showing of her film, i wanted to do a creativity workshop to share what i have been doing in my own shadow work. i have found this to be some of the most powerful work i have done, and i look forward to sharing it with you.
i have been sharing a lot lately about my self-portrait journal. this is how i am shining a light on what’s inside – by creating portraits of different aspects of me and my life. i shared this video recently, of what i have been doing in my self-portrait journal:

what we are going to do in this workshop is a series of meditations and journaling exercises to shine the light inside and explore what we find there – the good, the “bad” (we will discover that there is no bad, these parts of us are only misunderstood), the seen, the unseen and everything in between. as we shine a light on what is inside, we are actually illuminating our path to greater self love and self acceptance.
won’t you join in me shining your light?
