dreaming bigger dreams

yesterday was amazing.

i started my amazing day at the sunday celebration service at the centre for conscious living where i was happy to present a piece that i had written about my work at the centre.   it was a real gift to be able to share my experiences, from my heart.   i am living in my dream come true and i love that part of that dream is being a part of a thriving spiritual community and supporting the members of that community in creating their dreams come true.  

i have realised that if i am living in my dream come true then it’s time to make bigger dreams! 

so i have been making a lot of big shiny new plans for my life and my work.

after the service i  took advantage of the beautiful sunny day and had a giggle-filled picnic and then i went to a workshop called dance your prayers.  the workshop was focusd on creating an opening and i felt like it would help me create an opening for these new dreams to come into my life.

dance your prayers is put on by d’arcy bruning-haid of a soul’s journey in winnipeg who is really an incredible woman.

i have known her for a few years and always felt drawn to her dance your prayer workshops but for some reason i didn’t go.  i sure wanted to, but you know –   it’s a new place, new people – what if i don’t like it?  what if they don’t like me?   blah blah blah excuses blah blah.  thankfully, by yesterday i had run out of excuses and i signed up for the workshop.  because the workshop was exactly what i needed.  i knew d’arcy was an amazing woman capable of putting on an amazing workshop but i had not realised just how powerful it would be.

what dance your prayers ultimately did for me was help me to step into my new dreams, or dance into my new dreams.  to become so present with who i am what i am capable of, to feel the energy, creativity and excitement of those dreams come true flowing through my body.  it was so exciting i could hardly stand it. 

i left the workshop feeling like i had become my new, bigger dream.

i’m so glad these workshops happen every month!  it feels like they are going to play a big role in supporting me in moving into my bigger dreams.
