the other night i was out at a karaoke bar and this woman sang savage garden – i want you. i was totally enthralled with her. and i guess she stuck with me, because this paper doll i made yesterday looks like her:
i just love her message: dreams come true. they really do – for me, for you, for all of us. i am exploring new ways of being in that in-between space, that space we have to move through to move from where we are into our dreams come true. for me, there is a river there… a river filled with fears, uncertainties, procrastination, frustration, all kinds of monsters. i have learned to build boats and bridges out of self-care and optimism and they have served me well. but sometimes there is a flood and the entire landscape is river, the bridges are underwater and the boats overturned. what then?
i am exploring radical new levels of self-care, of believing in myself and dreams so fully that i can dive right into the river and not get wet. i am building dreams that are big enough to house the fear and uncertainties, i am making friends with the monsters and discovering that they are not so scary once you get to know them.
so i am a little busy right now.
you may have noticed some changes on my website… i am in the middle of some big changes around here that i hope to finish by next week. some of the new elements i’ve got here right now and just temporary place holders as i am creating a bunch of new art for my new website. i want it to look like my art journal. exciting and fun and i am swirling in the energy of dreams come true.
