I am also a winter walker (I walk my dog) but I think it gets colder there than here in Michigan. I also got a new pair of hiking boots this year and find that they make longer walks where it's not salted possible. They walk awesomely on ice! I find that preparations are important as well. I want to prepare for my new year of creative dreaming without making any "New Year's resolutions."
