I can't thank you enough for the idea of creative envisioning. It's taught me to focus on my bookwriting but to remember time off. So today, after acupuncture, I and my husband went for a coffee at a cafe beside the Nambucca River. The river is huge, and as we sat in the shade on a lovely wam day with little humidity, we had the peace of a calm river flowing by but close to us in the shallows the sun was shining on the stones in the river, and the water was rippling just slightly. It was awesome! So this is my commitment to lightening up. My husband can't sit still to save his life and when I said how great it was to have a lovely time out like this, he sort of mumbled "Yeah". To which I replied: "I can see the thought bubble coming out of your head - when will this be over!". Undaunted, I've told him we're going to the cafe for breakfast in the next week or so, at which he looked even more horrified. But that's his problem, not mine, lol. And Thursda morning we're going down to Scottshead Beach to wander around a huge, beautiful, peaceful bay and paddle in the sea and collect sea shells. All part of the lightening up process.
