I made up an art journal page with positive affirmation about the theme "Don't give up"

You know, it is like working on a giant jigsaw puzzle and enough pieces are in place now where I can see the connections, the over picture (sorta) and am laughing at the synchronicity of everything. I too have been thinking a lot about this process of bringing one's dreams into reality (am taking Marisa Haedike's April in Paris course) and seeing how my yoga practice has put into place a pretty amazing foundation. In the teachings of Patanjali's Sutras there is a part about not giving up - how fear, doubts, inertia, loss of ground gain WILL occur and those challenges or "set backs" are part of the process. I love your story about the sweet peas as a reminder not to give up. And I've been thinking a lot about the oyster that needs the irritation of sand to makes its pearl.

I am also excited by your blooming project and cannot wait to learn more! I just signed up for the mailing and will be ready for a session when you are :)

Oh, and thank you - I've found mermaids creeping back into my art and they make me so happy!

Love this Andrea...
have definitely been ploughing ahead with certain creative dreams even though an end result or ways of making money from them are not yet clear...

I am really thrilled that a piece of my flash fiction was accepted and is on the 6S blog today: http://sixsentences.blogspot.com/2010/05/unplugged.html

I've also had a great time writing a review piece on the two fantastic poets I met recently - again unpaid. But so fulfilling to branch out! I'm definitely going to just keep on and see where it goes...

Ironically I found my way here through Creative Every Day, it just so happens (syncronicity!) I write about my dreams manifesting, taking form and surprising the heck out of me... in part thanks to being on a teleclass where Danielle LaPorte was a guest! Dontcha love how those pieces all work together.

Cheers, brava and YES! YES! YES!... never give up!

It's so great you're getting back into yoga! I hope to do this soon too.

I am doing a little better with keeping up my spirits. I still am behind with my blog...but I am very abundant in ideas for how to move forward with my Scotland dreams. I want to look into applying for a grant (if anyone has done this and can offer advice, I'd really appreciate it!) I've also decided that I want to research holistic cooking courses, both here and abroad so that I can learn more and hopefully use the knowledge to create Lion's Share workshops that I can take abroad.

I have also made a point to get more creatively involved with the women artist's salon I belong to. My friend, Heidi started it in 2008 and we just opened our first group show at a bar on the Lower East Side. I contributed a photo and baked some new cookies for the reception.

I have also volunteered to be one of two administrators for a collaborative blog for the Salon. I launched it on Friday and it's going to keep growing and developing.

We have women artists from all over the world...

Now, to get back to my blog and catch up on posts!
