creative journal page: stepping into the dream

creative journal page: stepping into the dream

setting up my first unleash your creative magic creativity coaching sessions has been an absolute dream.  i am excited, the people i’m working with are excited – so much inspiration and creativity are flowing and sparkling.

and some fears and doubts creep in.  am i really ready?  of course i am.  what if i can’t figure out the time zone differences? of course i will.  what if what i do in-person simply does not translate well to phone and email?  hmmmm. that’s a good question but i won’t know until i try, will i?

and this sweet paper doll showed up in my art journal.  it felt like she was a little torn between the amazing opportunities in front of her and the little nagging doubts that were creeping in.

and then, in the midst of the swirling excitement and enthusiasm and massive spirals of inspiration flowing in every direction – i got the flu.

ick.

i have no energy, i sleep all the time and i ache.  everywhere.

i am finding this deeply frustrating. i feel like my creative work is exploding and i want to be working on this creativity coaching, and working on my creative with money workbook/workshop (i have decided to do it as a live workshop this fall!) and instead all i do is sleep and take hot baths and go back to sleep.

danielle laporte’s fire stater sessions (affiliate link) were released yesterday to those of us who pre-ordered them.  i am starting to work through mine in between naps and oh man this woman is such an inspiration, and i am starting to see this sickness is like an incubation. and when i come out of it i will be setting my creative dreams on fire.

this week’s wishcasting wedensday asks what do you wish to experience? i wish to experience these preliminary sessions going really super awesomely well for everyone involved.  i wish that my clients get so much out of them that their creative magic is unleashed in exactly the way they want it to be and they find themselves able to create their dreams come true.  i wish for this to be a soul-nourishing experience for all of us. i wish that i take what i learn from this, create fantastic unleashing packages, know exactly how to market them, and have to quit my part time job because i am so busy supporting people in unleashing their creative magic that i have no time for work!

creative journaling: trust

creative journaling: trust

and on the other side of my journal page:

trust

that’s what it all comes down to.

trust my dream.

trust myself.

trust that i am moving in the right direction.

trust that it will all happen in the right time.

it will.  i just know it.

You are in the middle of so much excitement and possibility…maybe your body just needed a little rest…wonderful that you can reframe your illness as incubation. Trust is the key. As Andrea wishes for herself, I wish for her also.

As Andrea wishes for herself, so I wish for her also. I have found with my recent illness that sometimes it truly is a preparation time, your body pulling in as much rest and energy as it can so that you can be fully supported as you release so much energy out into the world bringing your dream to life.

What a soulful wish… oh, my heart resounds with your wish…and reaches out to all those people your wish will benefit (which includes so many of us, when you think of its exponential quality)

Perhaps your illness is another way to slow down and be sure to savor all the juiciness of your life right now? Your seeds Have Been planted; they Are sprouting; they Will Grow as they are meant to grow and you are to Trust and tend to them but also to enjoy this lovely garden you’ve created. (gotta keep with the garden metaphor!) The blossoms are lovely to enjoy, but don’t forget the magical time of all these shoots popping their heads above the ground! Enjoy! Celebrate!

Trust really is everything, isn’t it? Self-trust is something really on my mind lately. And I’m really IN it. It’s beautiful.
I so wish that your bug gives you the adequate chrysalis time you need. Woah, now there’s a metaphor.
Blessings to you, sweetheart.

I always find it amazing Andrea how often when we think we really want to do something we suddenly get sick. Its like the subconscious part of us is trying to keep us safe in the only way it knows how by protecting us from a perceived threat – in this case doing something scary like beginning creativity coaching classes. Great blog – my first time here. I found you via twitter and LisaSonoraBeam. Get well soon!

As Andrea wishes for herself , I wish for her also . Follow your dreams , don’t stop , and Trust yourself , you have to look at it as what do you got to loose , just go for it , otherwise you will wonder what if , if you don’t . SO GOGOGOGO! : P

“I’m kind of terrified but mostly excited and stepping forward anyway.” That is beyond a doubt brilliant Andrea! I may have to pinch that and use it as my new motto!
Keep smiling happy lady!
