{unleash your creative magic} interview with nicola warwick

by andrea on June 1, 2010

about a month ago, for my birthday, i offered some free coaching sessions to the creative beings on the creative adventure mailing list. this was to give myself the birthday gift i really wanted – the opportunity to figure out how i wanted to bring my work online.  so i have been exploring and experimenting with these wonderful people and learning about what does and does not work.  what i have found is that for the most part, this is pure magic, and so instead of calling it “coaching” i am calling it “unleash your creative magic”.

afterwards, i met up on skype with one of those wonderful people, nicola warwick of the whole self.  nicola is in such an exciting place, having just resigned from her job to follow her dreams.  i love that!  so i wanted to share her inspiring story with you, and share her experience of what happened in our unleash your creative magic session.

what i did in these sessions was simply talk to the people about whatever issue they wanted to bring forward, asking a lot of questions while taking lots of notes.  i spoke to them until i felt clarity about what they wanted to do, what was in the way of them doing that, and how we could move that out of the way.  then i created a short guided meditation specifically for them, using the words they were saying, putting it all together in such a way that it fuels them in moving in the direction that they want to move in.  i made sure the meditations were very short – between two and three minutes – so they could easily listen for a pick-me-up.

what i am doing next is adding *more magic* to this.

more in-depth explorations and more follow-up support in taking the insights and inspiration of the session and integrating them into your daily life.  i am really happy with how this is all coming together.  if you think you may be interested in this (there will be many different options at different price points – including a really reasonably priced “DIY” version) you may want to join the creative adventure mailing list.  that list will be offered a special price on this before i introduce it here on my blog.

now go visit nicola and see how she is unleashing her creative magic!  you can also follow her on twitter or be her friend on facebook.

Hey, it’s interesting that you put this on. I was nattering to a friend yesterday and showing her your page and explaining why I like it. I was trying to explain (not very well) why I find your videos and words so captivating and I have to say your voice is so calming and reassuring and full of joy and this comes over in your art and your blog as well. It really is a pleasure to follow, I look forward to every entry. xx
