{creating dreams come true} i deserve all good things

by abccreativity on June 13, 2010

i see you paper doll

i see you. i really see you. you are magnificent.

it’s sunday – which means it’s creating dreams come true day. creating dreams come true is a free ongoing e-course and creative community to support you in living your dreams. if you are new, please feel free to join right in. the more creative dreamers the better!

i deserve all good things.

it’s so important that we believe this.

if we are coming at our dreams from a place of believing that we deserve all good things – everything can flow, we can take gentle and comfortable steps and create a path right into our dreams.

but if we are coming at our dreams from a place of not believing that we deserve all good things – everything can get so messy and difficult and frustrating.

and if we don’t believe that we deserve all good things – we can change that.  we can create a new belief by consciously choosing it.

so enough talking about it! let’s just get started choosing to know that we all deserve all good things.

creative dream assignment: “i deserve all good things” affirmation meditation

listen to this meditation as often as you can this week – try to commit to at least once a day.  mornings are good as this can help set your attitude for the day.  also good is to listen at night, and also affirm to yourself that your subconscious mind continues to repeat these words as you sleep, and so as you sleep, you are basking in the positive messages, allowing them to sink in deeper and deeper.

i deserve all good things

and if you really like this, check out the other affirmation meditations on my meditation page.

creative dream check-in

please join the comments below and let us know where your dreams are growing and flowing and where they’re stuck. also share any questions or ideas about this week’s topic, or just say hello. everyone’s dreams grow more fully and beautifully when we grow them together in creative community.

last week’s assignment was to trust that your dreams are growing beneath the surface, no matter what is happening on the surface.  how did that go for you? are your trusting muscles getting stronger?  trusting that our dreams are always growing puts us into a success mindset, and being in a success mindset supports us in everything we do.

my check-in:

well oh my goodness!  so much is happening for me, or rather – i am making so much happen for me right now.

my decision to quit my part time job means i have a very busy six months ahead of me and i couldn’t be happier about that.  it does feel in my reach, to build my creative work up to full time employment by the end of this year.  i feel like the past few years i’ve been building the foundation for this and now i’m ready to put the finishing touches on everything and really leap into it.

to that end right now i am getting my love your life packages together – this is both coaching packages and DIY coaching kits and both include a whole year of follow-up support via weekly emails containing exercises, journaling prompts, challenges and worksheets for implementing all of the insights gained in the coaching process and creating a life you can be head over heels in love with.  working on this is such a joy!

i am also re-working my create a map that leads to your dream come true workbook – re-designing it and adding guided meditations and other goodies, and adding more to my making friends with creativity creativity kit.  inspiration is really flowing and i am REALLY excited about all of the ideas i have to make these kits so much better.

i am also have a great time creating a free mini e-course called “discover your creative magic” for everyone on the creative adventure mailing list.

the 21.5.800 challenge is really keeping me in line with my yoga practice (yah!) and with getting lots of writing done – i am doing way more than 800 words per day.  i am also having berry/flax/protein smoothies every morning and feeling great.

and how about you?  what is happening in your world?  can’t wait to hear all about it.

I love this. A few of my affirmations that I write every morning are:
“My dreams deserve to be realized.”
“There is a divine plan of goodness for me.”

i am less afraid to create
than ever
& it’s really
what burns inside me
to come out
& the fear
i need to keep
confronting
is believing
i’m not capable
of technical things
(how to choose
a fax machine,
how to use
the computer
for picture tweeking
& organizing data
& even
downloading
photos from my camera
scares me!
also, time can scare me
& i can tell myself
i’m so busy with everything
& so that’s just lots of material
inside
to keep cradling & loving!
also, i’d like to go make myself
a protein smoothie
(more regularly)
& cheers to you with it
this morning
to ALL
that nourishes us,
dear friend.

lots of material inside to keep cradling and loving indeed.
we have to remember how valuable our creative outpourings are and carry on.
we can’t let that crap stand in our way!

Love the meditation! I DO deserve all good things! And good things are definitely flowing in my life, but I open myself to even more!

As for trusting that my dreams are growing beneath the surface, whether I can see evidence of that or not, well, I honestly DO believe that. Sometimes it can feel like we’re not making progress, or not making progress fast enough, but each step we take builds upon the previous ones, and before we know it, our dreams begin to take shape.

I’ve been making strides in finishing that romance novel, and it delights me to find that even though I already feel I know my characters and plot points very well, I am regularly receiving inspiration that reveals more about them and their story to me, better understanding of who these people are, and why they do what they do, and it’s a lot of fun. :-) It adds greater depth to them and their story.

I do still struggle with feeling like I am totally neglecting my artwork these days. As much as I am into the writing lately, I still feel like my true calling is first and foremost as an artist. And to not have created anything to offer for sale since December is significant, because you do start to lose your following, people stop looking for you and your work, etc. But I have to just take this as a gestation period, and when the time is right, I will return to it. A big part of the problem is my total frustration with the lack of decent work space in this tiny house, but it is what it is, and I can only work with what I have available. Right now I have to rearrange furniture and drag out this table and my supplies every time I want to create my clay art. A major pain in the pants, believe me. It really takes away from my desire to do it and my enjoyment of it. But I am sure I will eventually find a way around this. ;-)

Anyway, hope everyone is having a great week!

Andrea,

Wonderful meditation. It’s almost as good as having you lead Sunday morning meditation. So happy to have found your page online. Really looking forward to the Love Your Life packages. What an exciting time for you to be building such a creative, positive environment of work in your life. I see that you do deserve all goodness in your life and work. And I see the same for me too.

abccreativity June 15, 2010 at 7:54 pm

ginny i am sure you will find a way around that too. it’s so inspiring to hear how your book is coming together! you do deserve all good things.

eileen i’m so glad you found me here! you do deserve all goodness in your life and work.

Like your post. Funny is that indeed “i deserve all good things” but I don’t realize it on everyday basis. We are stuck in a daily routine and a lot of us forget even about the fact that they have dreams to make come true. And then one day we wake up and realize it is to late to chase the dreams … But now I am reminded of this, so thanks for that!

Lee Ann Monat June 16, 2010 at 8:09 am

I have been doing the meditation! It’s really relaxing…thank you!

I had a wonderful dinner with my friend and co-worker last night. She and I are both on our paths to change and move and go after our dreams. It’s been really amazing to see how all the seeds we’ve been planting are starting to poke their heads out of the soil…even in small ways! She’s a little further along (in regards to leaving work) than me…but I am finding joy in the fact that I inspired her and she’s been following her path! It’s nice to have someone to chat with about dreams but not have them dominate mine…we can be parallel and pursue what’s unique to us! Much like here!

I posted my Trust blog:

http://lion-art.blogspot.com/2010/06/trust-things-are-happening.html

I love how in sync things are right now.

abccreativity June 16, 2010 at 8:36 am

you are so welcome frank and thank you for joining in! we really do deserve all good things and it’s important that we keep reminding ourselves, and each other.

lee ann i’m so glad you’re enjoying the meditation and seeing that beautiful flow of synchronicity in your life. YES!
