I am celebrating the fact that I have a roadblock. As weird as it sounds, I want to celebrate it, because that means I’m making progress. I’m not finished yet. My creative genius awaits just on the other side. I can see her, I just need to figure out how to get to her.

I am celebrating embracing my creative energy and letting it flow through me instead of allowing what I “should” be doing to block this creative flow. I am celebrating all the beautiful opportunities the universe has helpd me find to encourage my creativity, including this blog and your Creativity 101 e-course. I am celebrating the newly-sprouted seedling of the idea that I should start a blog. I am celebrating the beginning of some new projects (polymer clay beads, stamp carving, and wireworking) that I bought supplies for just yesterday and began working on last night. I am celebrating the faith I am finding in myself and the steps I am taking toward opening an Etsy shop to share my ideas and my vision with the rest of the world.

wow erica those are really heart touching kindnesses. that is really something to celebrate.

diana those are wonderful things to celebrate! and i want to honour your honesty. creative dreaming is hard work and disappointing a lot of the time and i think it’s important to acknowledge those aspects of it too. you’re certainly not a downer – i see you being honest and doing everything you can to keep moving forward and that is awesome.

I celebrate that I’m taking time to play with my little one more! And I celebrate the coming of an idea that I had abandoned.
I frankly get a bit disillusioned by my lack of sales on etsy, and turns downs on my many book proposals. I’m trying to work thru this.
I have ideas, but when you have a lack of $$ and etsy interest, it’s quite hard to feel motivated to do anything!
But I celebrate the coming forth of ideas! And I celebrate more people being interested in my workshops, too! That’s something.
(I don’t want to be a debbie downer).
