every monday, i will share my intention for the week and welcome you to do the same.
setting a weekly intention is like taking some time to pave the way for success, joy and dreams to come true to find us throughout the week.
sharing that intention with others grounds us in it. we can also inspire and be inspired through the sharing of intentions. so i encourage you to join in! either by posting your intention as a comment here, or writing it on your blog and linking to it below.
this is not about setting goals and working to achieve them. this is about taking some time to be quiet and still and ask “what do i need this week?” and setting an intention from there to open up to receive what we need.
then our work is to remember our intention and align with it throughout the week.
if we intend to have a peaceful week, we must be peace. if we intent to have a successful week, we must be success.
i loved my intention to remember delight last week and i really couldn’t have picked a more perfect intention to get me through.
i am in the final weeks of circe’s circle, which has been such an amazingly wonderful experience. and last week we were exploring limiting beliefs and looking for ways to transform them. i felt like i lived my homework last week. like my limiting beliefs were extremely present with me and i had really work at it to remember delight. and that delight was a powerful tool for transforming the limiting beliefs.
this week i see lots of movement. i love where i’m going and i want to keep moving. so my intention is movement.

I can feel the big YES of your intention from here, Andrea! Lovely!
My intention of Taking Ownership last week was fantastic! Sometimes it was a little niggle in my brain telling me “you’re NOT taking ownership right now!” and sometimes it was the idea that spurred me into action. Both functions were exactly what I needed.
My intention for this week is Faith. We’re dealing with a little bit of scariness financially (I’m a stay-at-home mom and my baby bonus just got drastically reduced), and I just want to remember to have faith and keep my eyes and mind open for whatever help the Universe has to offer. Another word I’m thinking is Possibility…in fact, I can’t decide which of the two I like more this week. It’s about having faith that the possibilities are out there and keeping a lookout for them (and not about stressing out and freaking out *admonishing look at self*).
*deep, slow breaths*
Hi ! Movement is a wonderful intent, andrea. Here in France it’s time to go back to school (I’m a teacher) and everything is going to move again after the holidays.
I appreciate the intent “Faith” too. When I live with faith, I sleep better, I’m more self-confident, and even when things are hard, life is lighter.
My intent from last week was : “tying up lose ends” in my creative projects, without beginning a new one. It went pretty well, as far as my writing is concerned. Short texts came to an end.
This week I’m preparing myself to go back to highschool. It’s a time of change, and my intent is : “Accept, adapt, enjoy”. Accept the end of the holidays, adapt to your illness that can not heal, enjoy the frenzy time of the beginning of the school year.
Setting an intention of balance for this week. Balance between work, home and personal life. Not really something I easily achieve but I’m keeping it mindful for once and see what happens. Thanks for sharing this, I think it will be useful for me to set intentions for the week! Fun!
I loved the idea of movement, but ended up going with trust. It’s a tough thing for me and I think it’s the key to many of my other areas at times.
Love this! My intention/word this week is prioritise.
So many tasks/responsibilities to pick from, where to start?
And what about prioritising other things, like relaxation, balance and self-care?
Thank you so much Andrea for providing this space for intentions.
I am really finding myself looking forward to this on Sunday, my intention for this week is Uncovering myself in a loving kind way. Last week was cleanse and it turned out great. I was so inspired by my fresh fluffy clean bed that I journaled and set goals for september and fall and started a new daily plan. I look so forward for this week. I hope we all have a great week.
And mine is still nurturing. Self-care. Feeling cared for.

This is such a wonderful practice…I love it!
Sending light to everyone’s beautiful intentions!
wow wow wow.
i love reading everyone’s intentions and feeling like we’re all going into our weeks so purposefully. this is amazing.
i am also sending light to each of your beautiful intentions.
A day late, but here none-the-less. My intention is very similar to Andrea’s to “Keep Moving”. See more here: http://ceannesbestlife.blogspot.com/2010/08/keep-on-moving.html
I love the intentions you have shared and see these as “possibilities” for me in the future. Thanks for sharing!
I’m not sure what to name my intention this week. Maybe it’s just to be gentle with myself and acknowledge my power…not be afraid of owning it and showing it.
those are fabulous.
